It sometimes happens that you need to cover a beautiful and tasty meadow in a short time.
Bright Side picked up a few recipes that can help you accomplish this task.
Baguette with ham and cheese
Ingredients:
- 1 baguette
- 200 g cream cheese
- 100 g ham
- 1 onion
- olive oil
- greens
- salt, pepper – to taste
Preparation:
- Peel and finely chop the onion, fry in a little olive oil.
- Cut ham into small pieces, mix with cream cheese, fried onions, and herbs.
- Cut the baguette into three equal parts and remove the pulp. Stuff with the resulting filling.
- Place the baguette on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and bake for 15 minutes. Cut into thinner pieces before serving and sprinkle with herbs.
Toast with fish and apples
Ingredients:
- 1 apple
- 1 tsp honey
- 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
- Borodino bread
- 1 can of mackerel in oil
- 1 lemon
- mustard to taste
Preparation:
- Cut the apple into thin slices.
- Pour the honey over the apples and stir. Place in the microwave for 30 seconds.
- Cut Borodino bread into medium pieces and dry in the oven or toaster.
- Combine olive oil, mustard, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Put apples on bread, then mackerel and pour with olive oil dressing.
Quick vegetable salad
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of lettuce
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 can canned corn
- 50 g cheese
- 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
- salt, pepper – to taste
Preparation:
- Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters.
- Peel and cut into cubes.
- In a large bowl, stir together the tomatoes, bell peppers, your favorite salad, chopped into large pieces, and the corn.
- Season with olive oil, sprinkle with grated cheese, and mix well again.
Chicken popcorn
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. l. dried garlic
- 500 g chicken fillet
- 300 g flour
- 200 g processed cheese
- salt, pepper – to taste
Preparation:
- Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.
- In a deep bowl, mix well the chopped fillets with salt, pepper and your favorite spices. Leave to soak for half an hour.
- Combine flour, pepper and some more spices in a separate bowl.
- Roll the chicken fillet in flour, then in cheese and again in flour.
- Leave the crust to dry for 10-15 minutes.
- Fry in deep fat or a large amount of oil for 3-6 minutes. Allow excess oil to drain, cool and serve with ketchup.
Corn dog
Ingredients:
- 200 g flour
- 3 tbsp. l. Sahara
- 1.5 tsp soda
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. l. milk
- 6 sausages
- salt, pepper, spices – to taste
Preparation:
- Mix well flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, pepper and your favorite spice in one bowl.
- Beat in the egg and mix well again, gradually adding milk. The dough should be thick. You can adjust the thickness by adding milk or flour.
- String sausages on skewers and roll in flour – this way the batter will hold better.
- It is best to transfer the dough to a tall glass, each sausage should be dipped into a glass, and then fry in oil until the batter turns golden.
- Dry each corn dog on a paper napkin and serve with mustard and ketchup.
Korean carrots
Ingredients:
- 3 carrots
- 10 allspice peas
- 3 cloves of garlic
- salt, sugar, pepper – to taste
- vegetable oil, vinegar – to taste
Preparation:
- Peel and grate the carrots.
- Combine all spices in a separate cup, grind into powder.
- Mix salt with sugar. Add 2 tablespoons of water. When the sugar has dissolved, pour in vegetable oil and put on medium heat.
- Place the carrots in a bowl with a tight-fitting lid. Add spices, stir, pour boiling mixture. Pour some vinegar on top.
- Close the lid tightly and shake well.
- Leave the carrots in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Rice balls Arancini
Ingredients:
- 400 g boiled rice/risotto leftovers
- 50 g cheese
- 1 egg
- 50 g bread crumbs
- salt, pepper – to taste
Preparation:
- Cut the cheese into small cubes.
- Beat the egg in a bowl.
- Blind a rice cake in the palm of your hand, place a cheese cube in the center and roll a ball.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Dip each ball in an egg, then in breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown.
- Pat dry on a paper towel and serve with your favorite sauce.
Cheese fondue
Ingredients:
- 125 ml white wine
- 450 g of different types of cheese
- 1 tbsp. l. flour
- 1 baguette
Preparation:
- Grate the cheese.
- Heat the wine in a saucepan. Add cheese gradually, stirring constantly.
- When all the cheese has melted, add flour and stir well.
- Cut the baguette into small pieces and dry a little in the oven.
- Serve the fondue in the same saucepan in which it was cooked, with pieces of baguette and long forks, if available.
Breaded avocado
Ingredients:
- 100 g bread crumbs
- 2 avocados
- 2 eggs
- salt, pepper, spices – to taste
Preparation:
- Peel and seed the avocado, cut into small cubes.
- Combine the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and spices in a bowl.
- Beat eggs in a deep bowl.
- Roll each piece of avocado first in breadcrumbs, then in eggs and again in breadcrumbs.
- Fry in a hot skillet in a large amount of oil. Dry each piece with a paper towel.
- Serve with your favorite sauce.
Stuffed eggs
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tbsp. l. mayonnaise
- salt, pepper, spices – to taste
- greens
Preparation:
- Boil hard-boiled eggs.
- Refrigerate eggs, peel and cut each in half.
- Remove the yolks and place in a bowl, add mustard, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and spices. Beat with a blender or knead with a fork.
- Fill each protein with the resulting mixture. Serve sprinkled with herbs.
Scottish eggs
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 250 g minced meat
- 3 tbsp. l. flour
- greens
- salt, pepper, spices – to taste
Preparation:
- Boil soft-boiled eggs.
- Toss the minced meat, salt, pepper, and spices in a deep bowl.
- Take a piece of minced meat in your hands, flatten it on your hand like a tortilla, roll the egg in flour, and place it in the center of the minced tortilla. Cover the egg with minced meat and roll into a ball.
- Dip the resulting balls in flour and fry until tender.
Sausage and bacon rolls
Ingredients:
- 6 sausages
- 150g bacon/ham
Preparation:
- Cut each sausage into thirds and wrap each with bacon or thinly sliced ham. Secure with toothpicks.
Bake for 10-15 minutes in the oven. Serve with any creamy sauce.
